Based on LCD technology, the Panasonic PT-CMZ50 device delivers 5200 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 and a contrast of 3000000:1 as a projector. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 47 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 733 cm can be illuminated with 5200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 489 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable.
