Equipped with DLP technology, the Benq W1000+ offers 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3500:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Regarding projection size, the value of 2000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 454 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 303 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. With a value of only 29 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2009, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.

I have a question whether the projector works with Nvidia 3D Vision, which runs at 120 Hz, i.e. two times 60 per eye. Allegedly someone has managed it with the benq 600+ but with the driver of the Acer 5360 which has the same HZ number as the 1000+ so max 90 Hz vertically. If anyone manages to get the Benq 1000+ projector working with 3d Vision, please let me know. According to http://geizhals.at/?cat=beam&xf=73_DLP this is the only 3D Ready projector with Full HD.
