The basic data of the Benq MP724 includes 3500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 as well as a contrast of 2800:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 3500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 343 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Since entering the market in 2008, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

Beamer switches off after about an hour of running time
Hello everyone,
we have a BenQ MP724, which runs normally for at least 1.5 - 2 hours. After that the temp. display lights up and the projector switches off and cools down as if the projector is overheated. However, as it runs normally on a projector on a presentation table. Once the projector has cooled down, you can switch it on again and then "the game" starts all over again. Does anyone else know this, we have contacted the online store, the projector is now going back to the manufacturer and will be tested
