With the PU9730, Benq offers a 3D-DLP projector that features 7000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2800:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 7000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 850 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 567 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. This model dates back to 2014 and is no longer part of Benq's current product range. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
