With the SU917, Benq offers a 3D-DLP projector that features 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 7000:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2300 hours before a replacement is necessary. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment; exact values can be calculated using the Distance Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 5000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 479 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq.
