I absolutely can not understand how my previous writers can come to such results, the devices must have been defective!
I have operated the beamer for a short time in my home theater, the contrast is better than many HDTV LCD projectors! The resolution is also absolutely sufficient for DVDs and digital TV!
I absolutely love it for presentations, very good color reproduction and good contrast gradation. Excellent resolution for presentations!
I have never had any problems with this projector. Replacement lamps are also quite inexpensive!

benq PB8220
I bought the beamer in good faith, had looked at test results on the internet! previously had an Infocus lp580 asbachbeamer lcd!
when i connected the benq i couldn‘t believe my eyes! such a shitty picture i can recommend everyone not to buy it! take a used infocus lcd beamer preferably a lp690/ or 790 there you have something decent for a reasonable price!
at least watching dvd is fun!
but everyone has to make his own experiences!
good luck ;o)

Problems with RGB signal
The projector does not find the RGB signal when connected to a computer.
Have connected various computers - no change.
It searches and searches and ...
Was already under warranty at Benq several times, but could not fix the error.
Device came back without comment - with 50 hours more on the clock.
Technical support hotline at Benq with € 1.24/min. is also not so great.
