Based on DLP technology, the Benq MX615 projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 2700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3500 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 2700 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 453 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 302 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 30 decibels. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq.
