As a projector for the Short Distance sector, the Benq MW853UST+ is equipped with 3000 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast of 10000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 4000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 5.5 years. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 86 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 371 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2014 and is no longer part of Benq's current product range.
