Based on DLP technology, the Benq LK936ST projects images in a Stationary environment, with technical specs listing 5100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000000:1 and a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5100 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 726 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 484 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2022, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
