As a projector, the Benq TW533 combines DLP technology with a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800, and is additionally specified with 3300 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 15000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4500 hours before a replacement is necessary – mathematically sufficient for 6.2 years based on two hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 584 cm can be illuminated with 3300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 389 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Since entering the market in 2018, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
