Equipped with DLP technology, the Acer FL8620 offers 10000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 10000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1016 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 677 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2018, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
