Categorized in the Event segment, the PT-REQ10 projector from Panasonic projects with a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution, alongside 10000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 20000:1. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Distance Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 10000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1016 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 677 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance.
