Equipped with DLP technology, the Acer X1383WH offers 3100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 13000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 5000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.8 years. Looking at practical performance, up to 566 cm can be illuminated with 3100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 377 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
