The Acer S1286HN is a 3D-LED-DLP projector offering 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 5000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 6.8 years when used for 2 hours a day. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 124 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 3500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 343 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. This model dates back to 2018 and is no longer part of Acer's current product range.
