The projector P1657Ki by Acer utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 4500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 682 cm can be illuminated with 4500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 455 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Thanks to support for Miracast and Ezcast, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. This model dates back to 2022 and is no longer part of Acer's current product range.
