Behind the name X1230 is a LED-BrilliantColor-DLP projector by Acer, whose main features include 2400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 427 cm can be illuminated with 2400 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 285 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2009, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
