The VL7860 model is a LED-DLP projector from Acer, intended for Homecinema applications, offering 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1500000:1 at 4KESHIFT 2716 x 1528. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to perfectly align the image even with off-center installations – exact dimensions are provided by the Distance Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 371 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
