The SL1220n model from Acer combines DLP technology in the Short Distance sector with 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000000:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 124 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 551 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 367 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
