The Predator GD711 model is a 3D-LED-DLP projector from Acer, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 1450 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000000:1 at UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. The built-in LED technology features a light source lifespan of 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. A look at the light output reveals: The 1450 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 387 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 258 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Since the projector supports optional Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. With a value of only 26 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2021 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer.
