Equipped with LCD technology, the Panasonic PT L500 offers 850 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1300:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 5000 hours before a replacement is necessary. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 6.8 years possible. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Looking at practical performance, up to 296 cm can be illuminated with 850 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 197 cm. With a value of only 27 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This model dates back to 2003 and is no longer part of Panasonic's current product range.
