The equipment of the Panasonic PT-VMZ40 projector includes 4500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000000:1 with a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 display. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Lens Shift Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 682 cm can be illuminated with 4500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 455 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2019 and is no longer part of Panasonic's current product range.
