Categorized in the Short Distance segment, the PT-TX350 projector from Panasonic projects with a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution, alongside 3200 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 20000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 10000 hours before a replacement is necessary – mathematically sufficient for 13.7 years based on two hours of use per day. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 92 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 493 cm can be illuminated with 3200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 329 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2020 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic.
