According to Panasonic, the PT DW7000E/U/-K model provides 6000 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 4000:1 alongside a WXGA 1366 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1500 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 787 cm can be illuminated with 6000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 525 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. The projector was released in 2004 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
