Based on DLP technology, the Panasonic PT DZ8700E projects images in a Event environment, with technical specs listing 10600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 10600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1046 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 697 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
