As a projector for the Event sector, the Panasonic PT EX16K is equipped with 16000 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 2500:1. According to Panasonic, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 16000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1102 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 735 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
