Based on DLP technology, the Panasonic PT-RW930 E/U/ projects images in a Stationary environment, with technical specs listing 9400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. The projector is offered by the manufacturer in both white and black housing variants. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 9400 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 985 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 657 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2016, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
