Behind the name PT D5500E is a LED-DLP projector by Panasonic, whose main features include 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1600:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes.
