Known as the PT L711XNTE, this LCD projector by Panasonic features basic specs of 1600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Panasonic, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 348 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 232 cm. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 28 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. Since entering the market in 2001, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
