As a projector, the Panasonic PT FX400 combines LCD technology with a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768, and is additionally specified with 4000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 600:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Lens Shift Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 4000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 551 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 367 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
