The projector S5 by OTouch operates as a LED-LCD device with 1560 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 20000:1. Thanks to LED technology, the projector is rated for a lifespan of up to 30000 hours, which translates to 20.5 years with 4 hours of daily use. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in lumen specifications, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. A look at the light output reveals: The 1560 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 401 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 267 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen.
