As a projector for the Event sector, the Panasonic PT DZ16K2 is equipped with 16000 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 10000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1285 cm can be illuminated with 16000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 857 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2015 and is no longer part of Panasonic's current product range.
