Based on DLP technology, the Acer PD1520i projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 20000 hours of runtime, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. Regarding projection size, the value of 2000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 454 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 303 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer.
