The projector PT-VW540 by Panasonic utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 5300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 7000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 9.6 years based on two hours of use per day. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment; exact values can be calculated using the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5300 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 740 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 493 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic.
