With the PT-VX610, Panasonic offers a LED-LCD projector that features 5500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. According to Panasonic, the lamp has a durability of 7000 hours, which amounts to roughly 9.6 years at 2 hours of daily use. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Lens Shift Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 646 cm can be illuminated with 5500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 431 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic.
