The PT-TW380 model from Panasonic combines LCD technology in the Short Distance sector with 3300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 and a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 10000 hours, which amounts to roughly 13.7 years at 2 hours of daily use. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 92 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 3300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 584 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 389 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2020 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic.
