The PT DW17 model from Panasonic combines DLP technology in the Event sector with 16500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a native WXGA 1366 x 768 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 16500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1305 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 870 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic.
