Behind the name PT CX300 is a 3D-LED-DLP projector by Panasonic, whose main features include 3100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 8000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 88 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 485 cm can be illuminated with 3100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 323 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic.
