Categorized in the Standard-Portabel segment, the WL2650U projector from Mitsubishi projects with a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution, alongside 3500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 600:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 601 cm can be illuminated with 3500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 401 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by Mitsubishi.
