Known as the HC6500, this LCD projector by Mitsubishi features basic specs of 1200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 at a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. According to Mitsubishi, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for optical image shifting. To plan the individual installation location, a look at the Projection Calculator is recommended. A look at the light output reveals: The 1200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 352 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 235 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by Mitsubishi.
