As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Mitsubishi SL4U is equipped with 1700 ANSI lumens, a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution and a contrast of 500:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 359 cm can be illuminated with 1700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 239 cm. Since entering the market in 2003, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
