According to Mitsubishi, the UD8400 model provides 6500 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 2000:1 alongside a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 6500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 819 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 546 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2010 and is no longer part of Mitsubishi's current product range.
