As a projector, the Mitsubishi EW331U ST combines DLP technology with a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800, and is additionally specified with 3000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2700:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3500 hours for this projector's lamp. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 98 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 371 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2012, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
