Based on LCD technology, the Mitsubishi XL7100U device delivers 6000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 2000:1 as a projector. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3000 hours before a replacement is necessary. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 6000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 675 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 450 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2012, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
