The Mitsubishi XD80U is a DLP projector offering 1500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1500 hours before a replacement is necessary. A look at the light output reveals: The 1500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 337 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 225 cm. The projector was released in 2006 and is officially no longer distributed by Mitsubishi. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
