The Mitsubishi NW31U EST is a BrilliantColor-DLP projector that brings 2500 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution alongside a contrast of 10000:1. Mitsubishi lists a runtime of 20000 hours for the LED in this projector, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 75 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 508 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 339 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Mitsubishi.
