A projector from Mitsubishi is the XD400U, whose DLP model delivers 2100 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 2200:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2500 hours. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. A look at the light output reveals: The 2100 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 399 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 266 cm. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of Mitsubishi's current product range.
