A projector from Mitsubishi is the SL6U, whose LCD model delivers 1700 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 and a contrast of 400:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 1700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 359 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 239 cm. Since entering the market in 2006, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
