A projector from Mitsubishi is the XL1550U, whose LCD model delivers 3100 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 400:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 485 cm can be illuminated with 3100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 323 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 29 decibels. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by Mitsubishi. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
