Categorized in the Short Distance segment, the WD390U EST projector from Mitsubishi projects with a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution, alongside 3000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 3000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3000 hours. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 75 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 371 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2013 and is no longer part of Mitsubishi's current product range.
