A projector from Mitsubishi is the XL2E, whose LCD model delivers 1200 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 350:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2500 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 1200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 302 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 201 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. The projector was released in 2002 and is officially no longer distributed by Mitsubishi.
